Trans-Bridge Lines is expanding its service routes.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Whether your destination is the heart of Manhattan, Wall Street or Cape Liberty Cruise Port, Trans-Bridge Lines is expanding its services to fill the need.

“We are happy to be in a position where we have new drivers trained and ready to begin routes, allowing us to make these new runs available,” Trans-Bridge President Tom JeBran said in a written announcement Tuesday.

  • Trans-Bridge will increase the number of its routes to the New York City area
  • Some stop locations have been changed
  • Cruise port service is back

One of the most requested services, pier transportation to Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey, is returning, the company said.
The reservation-based pier transportation service also serves the Manhattan Cruise Terminal and coincides with the cruise lines' intineries.

“This highly anticipated service is returning for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic,” Trans-Bridge Communications Manager Jennifer Lechiski said.

“This is the service that has been the most requested...With the driver shortage we were challenged with post-pandemic, we had to focus on our commuter routes before we were able to consider reinstating this pier location.”

As for commuter service, two new routes have been added to the Allentown/Clinton/New York schedules with pick-ups beginning at 6 a.m. Two westbound routes from New York City have also been added.

Trans-Bridge has changed some of the stop locations on various routes to facilitate shorter arrival times, they said.

Additionally, service will resume on the bus line's Doylestown/Flemington schedule for the first time since October 2022, with one run each eastbound and westbound.

The company's Wall Street schedule is adding two later runs to and from the finance hub and operates Monday through Thursday.

“Although our industry has not recovered from the events of the last few years and will be forever changed by them, these positive modifications make our employees excited for the future and motivated for what we can accomplish in the future," JeBran said.
