BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. — A trampoline park in Bethlehem Township has shut its doors “effective immediately,” it was announced Tuesday.

Freefall Trampoline Park, which opened at 2800 Baglyos Circle off Emrick Boulevard in 2015, announced the closure on Facebook about 11 a.m.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Freefall Trampoline Park will be closed indefinitely, effective immediately," the post said.

"We will be reaching out to anyone with booked events.

"We thank you for all your patience during this time and thank you for jumping with us through the years."

Initially touted as the Lehigh Valley’s largest indoor trampoline park, the facility included connected trampolines of different types and sizes.

The facility was popular for birthday parties, and the announcement prompted hundreds of comments and questions.

“Imagine all those summer birthday kids who already gave out invites and now school is closed," one comment said on Facebook.

"If they knew something was coming they absolutely should of not taken those bookings.”

Others expressed disbelief, saying the facility was busy just days ago.

“We were there literally 2 days ago for a birthday party and it was packed,” a woman said.

One customer who left a deposit for an upcoming birthday party expressed hope her deposit would be refunded after being paid back in February.

Others asked about the status of gift cards.

Calls to Freefall were not answered and an automated recording said the facility was closed.

Updates to the business listing on Google also listed the facility as temporarily closed.
