Slime Time, a children’s entertainment venue allowing children to make their own slime, will soon open at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — A symbol of modern childhood is about to boost business at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley.

Slime Time, an entertainment venue that lets kids make their own slime, will open in Suite 606 next to Batch Microcreamery and Altar’d State, a release said Monday.

The 4,000-square-foot venue will become the second Slime Time in the area and fourth overall in the region. There’s one at Lehigh Valley Mall, and others in Lancaster and Willow Grove.

Slime Time offers the ability for children young and old to tap into their creativity and enjoy the hands-on nature of making slime, its website says.

Basic packages start at $19.99 for one slime and scent foam beads or glitter, along with access to play in both a slime tank and water bead tank, along with the Mad Scientist Selfie station.

Deluxe packages are $34.99 and include making two different slimes and scent slime.

Each experience includes turning children into “Slimeologists,” complete with lab coats and goggles, to help enjoy the process of making slime.

Birthday parties and group packages are priced at $299, with a full experience ticket for each child and a minimum of 10 children required.

Opening is slated for March, though an official opening day has yet to be announced.

Additional products include Poppers and Squishables, which are 15 inches tall and squish down a bit smaller or stretch a bit bigger, offering different characters and shapes.

Latest in a series of new tenants

The Promenade Shops recently announced a number of new tenants, including J. Crew Factory, Great Greek Mediterranean Grill and the new restaurant Turning Point, which opened in September.

Club Champion, a custom golf club fitting company, also recently moved into Suite 710.

It followed the opening of Sweet Diehl Boutique (in Suite 103), which began as a pop-up shop and later established a permanent spot selling women’s clothing and accessories.
