BETHLEHEM, Pa. — PBS39 tonight will explore the challenges faced by Lehigh Valley’s nonprofit organizations as they deliver services amid reduced funding.
“A Community Conversation: When the Funding Fades” is a live show that will explore how recent federal funding cuts and interruptions are affecting agencies and the people they serve.
Among the affected: food pantries, youth programs, housing initiatives and mental health services.
The hourlong program is hosted by PBS39 Executive Producer Brittany Sweeney.
It will be broadcast at PBS39 and streaming at PBS39.org, as well as on the PBS39 YouTube channel.
It also will be streamed on the LehighValleyNews.com Facebook account.
You can register for free tickets to be among the studio audience at the Univest Public Media Center in Bethlehem. Folks must be in their seats by 5:45 p.m.
