BETHLEHEM, Pa. - One of the Lehigh Valley's most prominent anti-poverty agencies will hold its annual meeting today.
Community Action Lehigh Valley is a nonprofit organization that advocates for food and housing access as well as economic opportunity.
You can watch the meeting and presentations here starting just before noon.
The meeting comes amid federal funding cuts and high costs for families in essentials such as groceries and housing.
Organizers say the 2025 annual meeting will focus on how Community Action programming and initiatives "will evolve and transform while inspiring youth engagement, sparking economic success, and growing community pride."
The meeting is being held at Wind Creek Bethlehem.
Community Action Lehigh Valley runs Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania, which distributes almost 16 million pounds of food annually in six counties.
Community Action Lehigh Valley was founded in 1965. Besides food access, key programs cover housing, economic development, youth development and affordable energy.
