BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Lehigh Valley Women's Summit (LVWS) returns to a new, larger venue this year.
- The Lehigh Valley Women's Summit (LVWS) will take place 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 8 at the Wind Creek Event Center
- Emcees Katarah Jordan and Elizabeth Ortiz will moderate the event for the second year
- The general session will feature Ally Love and Stephanie Bryan, and six breakout sessions will cover themes such as mental health, pay transparency, diversity and inclusion, public speaking and building influence
This year, the LVWS will take place on June 8 at the Wind Creek Event Center, where more than 600 women business leaders will convene for a day of empowerment, leadership, networking and community.
The event will be moderated by emcees Katarah Jordan, the director of the James Lawson Freedom School, and Elizabeth Ortiz, the owner of Cactus Blue Mexican Restaurant, for the second consecutive year.
The Women's Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce will collaborate with United Way of Greater Lehigh Valley and Cedar Crest College on presenting a lineup of keynote speakers and engaging breakout sessions.
This year, the general session will feature Ally Love and Stephanie Bryan.
Ally Love is the founder and CEO of Love Squad, and is dedicated to promoting and advocating diversity through exercise and communication. With a notable following across various social and professional platforms, Love aims to assist individuals in empowering themselves and taking control of their lives.
The morning keynote session at LVWS will be led by Stephanie Bryan, the CEO and tribal chair of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, whose tribe owns and operates Wind Creek Bethlehem, the event's new venue.
Bryan is nationally recognized for her advocacy for Indian Country, and since the start of her tenure, the tribe's economy has grown by 1,000% according to a written statement from the event organizers.
The LVWS will also feature six breakout sessions that address issues and questions facing the modern businesswoman.
