BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A city-based employee benefits consulting company has been recognized within the insurance industry as the top-performing firm in the Eastern region of the U.S.

BSI Corporate Benefits was selected as a winner of the 2023 MarshBerry MAX Performer Awards – a mark of distinction for independent insurance agencies. Only five firms are selected nationwide.

The award recognizes exceptional performance in client service, operations and employee engagement and culture.

Founded in 2003, BSI employs about 40 people and has been based the past 15 years in the Wiley Building at Main and Market streets. It is moving to the old Victory Firehouse building at Webster and Columbia streets in South Bethlehem.

Founder and CEO Tony DaRe said he was proud of the recognition and grateful for the support of clients and partners.

“Earning our client’s trust and respect by consistently delivering performance-driven results is our primary focus at BSI,” DaRe said in a news release. “The MAX Performer award is a valuable acknowledgment of our teams’ effort and dedication to service.”

BSI manages employee benefit programs for more than 250 companies nationwide, with additional offices in Wilkes-Barre and the Detroit area.
