The DaRes will succeed 2022 campaign co-chairs Ashley Russo and Vince Sorgi and their spouses. They led a fundraising campaign that set a record for the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, collecting more than $22.6 million.

Lewis credited the DaRes’ community leadership and philanthropy.

Last year they donated $1 million to St. Luke’s University Health Network to help fund construction of the Women & Babies Tower at the St. Luke’s Allentown campus and to establish an endowment for scholarships for students at Temple/St. Luke’s Medical School.

The United Way says BSI Corporate Benefits has been a leader in supporting the agency and its programs. It has increased contributions in its own workplace campaign year after year, and has garnered 100% participation among employees the past three years.

"Showing up in the community every day and partnering with United Way allows us to achieve our definition of success," Tony DaRe said in the news release.
