Religious TV pioneer Patricia Huber dies at 91

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A Lehigh Valley television pioneer has died.

Patricia Huber, co-founder of WBPH TV 60 and host of the long-running Bible show “Bethlehem Glory,” died Saturday at age 91.

She and her late husband Joseph started the independent religious station in 1990, and she served as president for more than 25 years, according to her obituary.

“Pat lived a life dedicated to serving others and spreading the love of Jesus,” said her obituary.

“She touched countless lives through her various ministries including a Christian coffeehouse, teaching Bible studies to children and adults, women’s prison outreach, and founding an inner-city drop-in center and food bank.”

Surviving are four sons, two daughters, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.

A funeral service will be held at noon.
