BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A promotion designed to draw people downtown will let cars park at 50% off for the first four hours in five garages citywide.
At a usual rate of $1.50 per hour, the automatically applied deal would put the price at 75 cents an hour every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from May 22 through June 28.
As always, the first 30 minutes of parking will be free.
In a release, Bethlehem Parking Authority Executive Director Steven Fernstrom said using a city garage instead of a two-hour spot or metered parking will give a Christmas City experience that comes “without the hassle” of feeding a meter.
"This promotion makes it even easier for people to enjoy everything that Bethlehem has to offer this spring, with less stress and more time to explore."Bethlehem Parking Authority Executive Director Steven Fernstrom
“Our garages are modern, accessible and just steps from everything happening in our downtowns — from shopping and dining to arts and community events,” Fernstrom said.
