BETHLEHEM, Pa. — If you ever wondered whether stuff lying around your house might actually be valuable — especially in this economy — there might be an easy way to find out.
- The Antique Treasures Show is returning to Historic Bethlehem
- The event will be May 6
- Last year, one happy surprise was a mirror valued at $400
The Antique Treasure Show will return to Historic Bethlehem noon to 2 p.m. on May 6 at Moravian Museum, 66 W. Church St.
When the show came to Bethlehem in October 2022, one bowl brought by an attendee was appraised at $200 and a mirror at $400. Other popular items in the past have included vases and tea sets.
The Treasure Show team conducts both in-depth and walk-in analyses. In-depth appraisals cost $25 for members of Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites and $30 for non-members.
Walk-up appraisals are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
To obtain an official appraiser’s same-day report, treasure seekers should submit photos and background information two weeks in advance.
HBMS members who just want to observe can come by for free. Non-members are welcome, too, for a $5 admission fee.
Light refreshments and admission to the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem are included.
