The Antique Treasure Show returns noon to 2 p.m. May 6 at the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem, 66 W. Church St.
Inspired by PBS’ “Antiques Road Show,” the event, sponsored by Historic Bethlehem Museum and Sites or HBMS, will offer attendees a chance to learn the history of their antiques — along with finding out how much they are worth.
On-the-spot appraising
The team of appraisers is slated to conduct both walk-in and in-depth analyses of the antiques.
In-depth appraisals begin at noon and are limited to the first 20 registered guests. The cost is $25 for members, $30 for non-members. Upon sign up, organizers say folks should be prepared to submit photos online, plus information on the objects.
The additional information allows the appraisers time to conduct research and issue an on-the-spot report.
At 1:15 p.m., walk-up appraisals will begin with on-the-spot assessments. One object per person. Appraisals are $15 for HBMS members, and $20 for non-members.
Don’t have any values to appraise? Visitors are welcome to the event.
Tickets are free for members and $5 for non-members.
