International Cultural Festival coming to Allentown for 4th year

The 4th Annual International Cultural Festival will be held at Arts Park in Allentown.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Allentown Fair may be over, but the city is gearing up for another festival just around the corner.

The 4th Annual International Cultural Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Arts Park, 24-32 N. Fifth St.

Organizers say more than 40 different cultures will be represented through performances, food and displays of art and traditions.

The festival runs all afternoon and features the rhythms of traditional dances and music alongside the beauty of handcrafts and global fashion.

Participating organizations, according to a news release, are:

Food options will include an array of international delicacies. Participants can savor West African street food or Indian dishes, among others.

Food vendors include Bassa Girl Catering, Bibi’s Tiffin, Dee’s Kitchen and Catering, Panchita’s Kitchen, 3L Catering and CeCe’s Lemonade.

Admission is free, and tickets for certain shows can be reserved here.

  • 12:45 p.m. - Jonathan Padilla

  • 1:15 p.m. - Lenape Tribe
  • 1:30 p.m. - Serayah's Belly Dance
  • 2:00 p.m. - PRCP dance to Color Esperanza
