BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Wind Creek Bethlehem is adding a new dining destination to its restaurant lineup.

Bethlehem Barrel and Drafthouse, a restaurant set to be operated by Aramark Sports + Entertainment, is slated to open this summer in The Outlets at Wind Creek, it was announced Thursday.

“This is another exciting culinary addition to Wind Creek Bethlehem’s lineup. It reflects our ongoing reinvestment strategy and commitment to delivering a top integrated resort experience.”
Executive Vice President and General Manager Patrick Ryan

The venue will focus on elevated pub fare, Pennsylvania-made spirits and local craft beer, served in what’s described as a refined yet casual atmosphere, according to a release.

The restaurant will offer a menu of specialty items developed with local tastes in mind, the release said.

Offerings will include a crab cake sandwich with Old Bay remoulade, a New York strip steak with chimichurri butter, and a marrow bone appetizer that has the option to be paired with a Rye Whiskey Luge.

Beverage offerings will feature a wide selection of whiskeys and rotating taps from local breweries, the release said.

“This partnership with Wind Creek Bethlehem represents an exciting opportunity for Aramark to expand our restaurant portfolio and showcase our hospitality expertise to a new audience,” John Gilbert, Director of Restaurant Hospitality for Aramark Sports + Entertainment, said in the release.

Broader investment strategy

Wind Creek officials said the Drafthouse is part of a broader investment strategy aimed at enhancing the resort’s appeal as a top entertainment and hospitality destination in the Northeast.

“This is another exciting culinary addition to Wind Creek Bethlehem’s lineup,” Executive Vice President and General Manager Patrick Ryan said in the release.

“It reflects our ongoing reinvestment strategy and commitment to delivering a top integrated resort experience.”

Job listings through Aramark indicate the company is seeking a general manager and a chef de cuisine for the new restaurant, along with an executive chef, cooks, waitstaff and host and hostesses.

The new venture will join Market Gourmet Express, Twisted Tees and Sweet Revenge as part of the restaurant scene at the Outlets at Wind Creek.
