Saying goodbye to summer: Find out where to eat, drink and be entertained this Labor Day weekend

There's still time for The Great Allentown Fair — and a whole lot more — as summer comes to a close this weekend.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — It went too fast. It was too hot. It rained too much. Yes, it's true, the unofficial end of summer is here.

No time for regrets. Let's do this!

If you have any part of the long weekend open, and you aren't at the beach or lake, there are more than a few chances for all ages to eat, drink and relax at a variety of food and beverage-inspired activities throughout the Lehigh Valley.

There's still time to experience all that the Allentown Fair has to offer, through Monday. Main acts at the Grandstand include Pentatonix Saturday night and Jeff Dunham on Sunday. Monday is the J & J Demolition Derby for all ages. Fair hours are 12-10 pm through Sunday; Monday 12-9 pm.

SUNDAY, 9/1 12-4PM 3rd annual Bethlehem Brew Fest and Brewery Olympics Event by Seven Sirens Brewing Company that takes place at Danny E. Rice Memorial Park, 118 W Lehigh Street, Bethlehem. 12 p.m. for VIPs; 1 p.m. public Parking is free.
