ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A restaurant chain that offers made-to-order stir-fry, salads and honey bars officially has opened its first Lehigh Valley location.
The fast-growing, Philadelphia-based chain honeygrow announced in Februarythat it planned to open the location in Airport Shopping Center at 1872 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
The restaurant, next to the AT&T store, opened to customers on May 23, the chain said in an email.
It's honeygrow's 60th location nationwide and 23rd in Pennsylvania and "part of its broader plans to grow its presence in the Lehigh Valley, following the opening in Quakertown in 2022," the email said.

The Quakertown location along Route 309 previously was honeygrow's closest to the Lehigh Valley.

Customers can choose from protein options starting at $1.80 for egg, through $3.39 for chicken, $4.20 for shrimp and $4.80 for steak. Turkey meatballs and tofu also are available.
That can be paired with egg white noodles, whole wheat noodles; gluten-free rice noodles, brown rice, curly kale, romaine or arugula.
There also are add-ons such as cauliflower, onions, strawberries, celery, blueberries, pineapple, strawberries, scallions, mushrooms, broccoli, snow peas, cucumbers, chickpeas, carrots, jalapeños, Kalamata olives and Tzatziki and more for an additional cost.
There also are a selection of sauces, dressings, ad-ins and garnishes, including vegetables, fruits, cheeses, chili crisps and roasted garlic.
For the sweet tooth, honeygrow offers its signature honeybar, with fresh fruit, various sweet toppings and drizzled with one of three flavors. They cost $6 to $8.36.
