ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Something is brewing in downtown Allentown.
Discover hundreds of new craft beers and flavors at the Allentown Beer Fest from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9.
Tickets are $50 and purchase is restricted to people aged 21 and older; government-issued IDs will be checked.
A ticket is not needed to attend the Allentown Beer Fest to enjoy the music and food, but you can't sample beers without one.
A ticket comes with a 3.5 oz. tasting glass for as many beer samples as you like (safely, organizers urge) during the event.
On tap will be 60 sixty breweries slated to convene biergarten-style on the 700 and 800 blocks of Hamilton Street.

The boozy celebration, organized by the Downtown Allentown Business Alliance and City of Allentown, is now in its sixth year.
COVID-19 regulations stuck a cork in the festivities in 2020 and 2021, so organizers have widened the list of participating breweries in recent years.
