'Beyond excited'

Chief Executive Officer Stephanie Rath said the team is "beyond excited" to open the Lehigh Valley taproom for the holiday season.

“Our team has worked hard to create a space that brings the spirit of Barley Creek to a brand-new community — just in time for the holidays," Rath said in a release.

“From our very first pint in the Poconos to this new Taproom in Saucon, our goal has always been the same: to make people happy with good beer, good food, and good times."

Taproom Saucon also is prepped for football season, Barley Creek previously announced, with "big-screen TVs throughout the space."

The brewpub was established by Eileen and Trip Ruvane in 1995 in the Pocono Mountains, "with a traditional Pennsylvania timber-frame barn raising," according to the company's website.
