- During the celebration, customers can enjoy buy-one-get-one-free treats
- The new location provides 500 extra square feet, additional parking, a larger outdoor seating area, and the ability to make ice cream cakes on the premises
The new and larger location at 4128 Springmill Road opened on Jan. 18 and is situated directly across the street from its original location in the Eagle Point Plaza strip mall at 5503 MacArthur Road.
“I bought the ice cream shop from its original owner, Charlie Nemeth, who created a great business,” said Rick Safi, the current owner of King Kone. “I am happy to continue the legacy and to take the much-loved shop to the next level.”
However, Safi noted that some customers are not yet aware of the move, so he intends to spread the news through the grand opening event.
On the celebration day, customers can enjoy buy-one-get-one-free menu items from noon to 9 p.m., which is also King Kone’s business hours.
