ALLENTOWN, Pa. — He sees her “Gypsy.”

In an ultimate display of fandom, a Parkland High School grad has put together some of Stevie Nicks' most iconic outfits to share with fans.

The new show is part of Stevie Nicks Weekend in Allentown in anticipation of the singer's sold-out Saturday concert at the PPL Center.

“Rhiannon’s Realm: A Fashion Exhibition Celebrating Stevie Nicks” is curated by Landon Annoni, of Legacy Exhibitions.

The show made its debut Friday at the City Center Group in Allentown.

The extensive collection features bedazzled dresses, flowy shawls, platform boots, glittery gloves, and intimate photos of the songstress, along with guitars and outfits worn by her Fleetwood Mac bandmates, Lindsay Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie, who passed away in 2022.

The exhibition runs through Nov. 15.

Rhiannon's Realm: A Fashion Exhibition Celebrating Stevie Nicks” features some of the singer’s most iconic outfits and accessories.

It started with the white blouse

Annoni’s fascination with Nicks' style and Fleetwood Mac started eight years ago, when he was 15.

“I was always drawn to the music and the story of the five of them coming together and the drama — it was really intriguing,” he said. “And when you think of fashion icons in the 70s, Stevie is number one.”

One of the first pieces he purchased was of a white blouse worn by Nicks onstage in 1975, the same year she joined Fleetwood Mac.

The owner of the shirt was Kayla Kennington, a fashion designer and longtime friend of Nicks.

“They met in Hawaii and she and Stevie would trade clothing,” Annoni said. “Stevie also wore one of Kayla’s denim pieces during the 'Rumours' tour.”

Annoni became an acquaintance of Kennington. She was among many fashion designers who schooled the teen on the ways he could turn his then-hobby into a lucrative business.

Never before seen photos of Stevie Nicks, by Richard Armas, are part of a new exhibition in Allentown.

The new collection also features a series of never-before-seen portraits taken by celebrity photographer Richard Armas in 1979.

Armas, who died in 2009 from pancreatic cancer, met Nicks through a model named Mary, according to his brother Abel Armas.

Abel Armas shared hundreds of his sibling's iconic shots with Annoni, who curated a select few specifically for the Allentown show.

"There’s three main photographers that shot Stevie and these are some of my favorite shots," Annoni said. "Richard did an incredible job and it's very rare to see these photos out there."

Abel Armas, his wife Charlotte, and their daughter, Alexandra Tuck, flew out from California to attend the opening of Annoni's exhibition.

"I have just seen the tear sheets, but I've never seen them hung on the wall displayed like this," Abel Armas, who attended the 70s shoot, standing behind his brother as he snapped pics of the Gold Dust woman, then in her 30s.

"My brother was a simple guy. That's why celebrities liked him. On top of that, he did all the hair and makeup, so he was a full-service photographer," Abel Armas said as he marveled at the way Richard captured the songstress, honing in on her enchanting persona.

“I was always drawn to the music and the story of the five of them coming together and the drama — it was really intriguing, and when you think of fashion icons in the 70s, Stevie is number one.”

Stevie Nicks weekend

At Friday's opening, Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony declaring Friday through Sunday "Stevie Nicks Weekend."

He thanked Annoni for presenting the "amazing" idea to the city dubbing it an "expression of hard work and love."

The show is a partnership with the City of Allentown, Allentown Chamber of Commerce and City Center Group, who gave Annoni the space to create the multi-room show that took about a month to curate.

"I zoned in during the creative process. However an actor goes in and immerses themselves in a role, it involved me sitting down for hours on end and looking at photo shoots and performances and thought, what can I do to bring Stevie Nicks' career into six rooms?" Annoni said.

He has been commissioned by the city to put together a few more music-themed exhibitions similar to that of the singer.

Among the city-wide celebrations leading up to the singer's concert is a Nicks-themed bar crawl from 7 p.m. to midnight on Friday in Allentown.

Participating bars include Sports & Social, Blended, Americus Hotel, PA Rye Co., Pasta & Pies, Chez’s, Casa Criolla, Bru Daddy’s and The Dime bar crawl tickets start at $40 and include access to food and drink specials and entry to Rhiannon's Realm.

In addition, for fans who didn't score tickets to Nicks' show, there's still a chance to celebrate her music at an official after-party from 10:30 p.m. to midnight at Blended Bar and Grille, 27 N. 7th St.

DJ Sully will spin some of Nicks' biggest hits as a solo artist and as a lead singer with Fleetwood Mac. Entry is free.

After the glitter fades from Nicks' performance, check out a free concert by local group, Fleetwood Macked.

The Fleetwood Mac tribute band will perform some of the band's best hits from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday on Hamilton Street, between Sixth and Seventh streets.

A 'surreal' fan moment

As of Friday, only "Platinum" seats for the PPL Center show, at $473 each, remained on sale on the PPL Center ticket site Wednesday.

Annoni will be at the concert in the front row.

Stevie Nicks performs at State Farm Arena on Sunday, March 3, 2019, in Atlanta.

He's hoping that Nicks makes a pit stop at his exhibition before her sound check.

"I met her once in Las Vegas during a Fleetwood Mac reunion concert. She is a very hard woman to meet, but she was so grateful for the work that I do," he said. "Stevie was so happy to talk about the collection and it was a surreal moment."

Nicks, who has been on tour with "Allentown" crooner Billy Joel this summer, announced in September she's extending her solo performances in 2024.

Her closet next tour stop will be Feb. 10 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, following a concert in Belmont Park, New York, on Feb. 14.

Tickets to "Rihannon's Realm" start at $25.

Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will support wildfire relief efforts in Maui, as per Stevie Nicks' request, Annoni said.
