Seether broke onto the charts with its 2002 sophomore disc “Disclaimer,” but had its biggest success with 2004’s “Disclaimer II,” which produced the hit “Broken.” That song went to No. 4 on the alternative chart.

Seether’s fourth album, "Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray," was its highest-charting, peaking at No. 2 on the overall albums chart.

Overall, the group has had 24 songs that have hit the Top 10 on various charts, including the No.1 rock hits “Fake It,” “Country Song,” “Tonight,” “Words as Weapons” and "Dangerous," "Bruised and Bloodied" and "Wasteland," all from 2020.

It has a new album, "The Surface Seems So Far," due out Sept. 20.

Seether headlined Bethlehem’s Musikfest festival in 2005.

Among best-selling rock bands

Skillet released its self-titled debut album in 1996, but first hit the charts with its sophomore disc, "Hey You, I Love Your Soul" in 1998. That disc peaked at No. 25 on the Christian chart.

The group had its biggest success in the mid-2000s. Its 2006 disc "Comatose" sold platinum and crossed over onto the overall Billboard albums chart at No. 55.

It's 2009 album "Awake" hit No. 1 on the Christian chart and No. 2 on the overall albums chart and sold double-platinum with the five-times-platinum hit "Monster" and the double-platinum "Awake and Alive," which hit No. 1 on the Rock singles chart.

The group again hit double-platinum with the 2016 song "Feel Invincible" and platinum with 2017's "The Resistance."

It's among the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century and its music has been used by the WWE, ESPN and NFL.

It has been nominated for three Grammy Awards and 29 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, of which it won eight.

The group headlined Musikfest in 2013.
