Top Canadian pop-rock band to play Allentown's Archer Music Hall

Canadian pop-punk band Marianas Trench will perform at Allentown's Archer Music Hall on Oct. 7, 2025. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A Canadian pop-rock band that in 25 years together has been nominated for seven Juno Awards and had five triple-plating hits in that country will play Archer Music Hall.

Marianas Trench, which was chosen the Junos' Group of the Year in 2013, will perform at Archer on Tuesday, Oct. 7, as part of its just-announced The Force of Nature Tour.

Opening the show will be pop-punk band The Summer Set, which has had three albums hit Billboard's Top 100 and is best known for its 2009 hit "Chelsea."

Tickets, the prices of which have not been released, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, at the Archer website or its box office at 939 Hamilton St., Allentown.

Marianas Trench started in 1999 and released its first album, "Fix Me," in 2006.

Its sophomore album, 2009's "Masterpiece Theatre," sold triple-platinum in Canada and produced the triple-platinum hits "All to Myself" and "Cross My Heart," and the double-platinum hits "Beside You," "Celebrity Status" and "Good to You."

Its third album, 2011's "Ever After," also sold triple-platinum and produced four triple-platinum hits: "Haven't Had Enough," "Fallout," "Desperate Measures" and "Stutter."

Its fourth album, 2015's "Astoria," sold platinum and had the double-platinum hit "Who Do You Love."

In all, the group has released six albums, with the latest being "Haven" last August."

Marianas Trench performed at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and the 2015 Pan Am Games.

Frontman Josh Ramsay received a Grammy Award nomination for co-writing and producing Carly Rae Jepsen’s Diamond-selling hit “Call Me Maybe.”
