B Social, a multi-entertainment venue and event center, will hold its grand opening on July 15 at Center Square shopping center, Route 378 in Lower Saucon Township. The center will offer 16 bowling lanes, axe-throwing bays, ping pong and pool tables, 70 video screens, three bars and pub fare.

LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa. — For those hungering and thirsting for oodles — yes oodles — of family fun, the venue literally will be the place to be.

Or, more accurately, B.

On July 15, B Social, a two-story, state-of-the-art, multi-entertainment center and event venue will hold its grand opening, it announced Monday.

Located in the Saucon Square Shopping Center on Route 378 in the former Revolutions entertainment center, the 45,000-square-foot facility is a cornucopia of fun for all ages.

Sales and marketing director, Christopher Lutz-Long, discusses the July 15 grand opening of B Social, a multi-entertainment center at Center Square shopping center in Lower Saucon Township.

A tour of the facility Monday showed the venue has 16 bowling lanes, axe-throwing bays, 55 new and classic video games including Skee Ball and ping pong, and pool tables, as well as live music and a dance floor.

The B Social experience is highlighted by more than 70 screens, including a 34-foot dining room LED screen and a 24-foot experience center LED screen.

Other amenities include three full-service bars overlooked by video screens, an indoor/outdoor beer garden serving hyper-local craft beers, a food menu featuring traditional pub food, appetizers and desserts.

'We're full steam ahead'

On the second floor is a 21-and-older bar and lounge that will operate Friday and Saturday nights.

A ceramic pizza oven will create the aroma of the old country, right down to dough imported from Italy.

B Social also has space to accommodate private meetings and social gatherings such as birthday and engagement parties.

“As we sat around think-tanking, we always came back to creating a place where people can be social with one another again. That’s what B Social is all about.”
Christopher Lutz-Long, sales and marketing director, B Social

After a year and a half in the planning stages and another year and a half renovating the venue, B Social is committed to helping customers be just that, B Social Sales and Marketing Director Christopher Lutz-Long said.

“What we learned from the pandemic is that people missed human interaction,” Lutz-Long said as workers continued preparing the venue for the grand opening.

“As we sat around think-tanking, we always came back to creating a place where people can be social with one another again. That’s what B Social is all about.”

“We’ve begun training the staff. And the last of the signage and murals in the building are about to go up.

“We’re full steam ahead.”

'The area's sports destination'

B Social co-owners Mike Patel and Kayur Popat have made accommodations from installing a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, to offering cutting-edge technology, to re-upholstering chairs and couches with butter-soft leather.

“Everything is new,” Lutz-Long said. “This will truly be the area’s sports destination.”

So you’ve just bowled the worst game of your life while watching the Phillies or Eagles blow a lead in the final moments on large video screens at the far end of the alleys.

Among the amenities at B Social are three full-service bars. The multi-entertainment center will open July 15.

Looking to vent your frustrations, you shelve your bowling ball and head to the axe-throwing bays just a few steps away.

Or you challenge a family member or friend to a spirited game of ping pong or pool.

Or you immerse yourself in the challenges at the video arcade.

Or you simply belly up to a bar, sip a beverage, order some pub food and enjoy the music blaring from the state-of-the-art sound system.

Just don’t look up or around at one of the giant video screens. They just might be showing post-game highlights.

So a word to the wise: B Careful.
