ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A rap-rock boy band who a dozen years ago parlayed a fourth-place finish on TV's "X Factor" into a Top 10 debut album and a hit single will play Allentown's Archer Music Hall.
Emblem3, best known for the 2013 song "Chloe (You're the One I Want)," will perform in Archer's smaller Arrow room at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, it was announced.
Opening the show will be indie-pop band The Foxies.
Tickets, at $47 each, went on sale Friday at the Archer websiteand at the venue box office at 939 Hamilton St.
Emblem3, during the second season of FOX-TV's "X Factor" talent competition in 2012, was eliminated in the semifinals, but was signed by judge Simon Cowell's Syco Records.
It released its debut album, "Nothing to Lose," that December and the disc hit No. 7 on the overall Albums chart.
Its first single, "Chloe (You're the One I Want)," peaked at No. 7 on the Heatseekers chart.
The group won the Teen Choice Award for Breakout Group and was nominated for two Radio Disney awards
Its second album, "Songs from the Couch, Vol.1," peaked at No. 22 on the digital chart, but it had no charting discs or songs after that.
In 2023, Emblem3 released "Songs from the Couch, Vol. 2," its first album in nine years, and most recently released a single, "Looks to Kill," in 2024.
