A Taylor Swift Night at ArtsQuest's ice skating rink at SteelStacks, scheduled for Wednesday, is proving so popular, it's unlikely there'll be a "blank space" on the ice.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — "It feels like the perfect night," to celebrate Tay Tay's 34th year around the sun.

ArtsQuest's Ice Rink at SteelStacks will feature a special Taylor Swift Night on the pop star's birthday on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Though Swifties need to act fast.

A "Blank Space" on the ice that night is getting harder to come by.

According to ArtsQuest, tickets to the first session (scheduled for 6:45 p.m.) are sold out, but there still are some left for the 8:30 time slot.

This is the first time a themed skate night has sold out in 2023.

"Taylor has had a lot of great years, but this seems to be her year," ArtsQuest Programming Director Ryan Hill said.

"It's an awesome thing to see. This community likes to get together and celebrate their passion for Taylor's music and performances and I'm glad that fans are willing to do it on a cold night in December."

"One of the reasons this area latches on to Taylor Swift is that she didn't come up from Philly, she didn't come up from Pittsburgh ... it was Berks County, a place that looks a lot like the Lehigh Valley and is adjacent to it. I think that means a lot to people because it makes them feel like everything is possible."

While the pop star and Berks County native won't be there (rumor is she's spending the special day with her NFL beau, Travis Kelce), fans can dance on ice to some of her biggest hits during the 75-minute sessions.

Sure to be on the setlist: Swift's 2019 heartwarming/holiday tune, "Christmas Tree Farm," inspired by her childhood home in Wyomissing, Berks County.

"One of the reasons this area latches on to Taylor Swift is that she didn't come up from Philly, she didn't come up from Pittsburgh ... it was Berks County, a place that looks a lot like the Lehigh Valley and is adjacent to it," Hill said.

"I think that means a lot to people because it makes them feel like everything is possible."

Tickets start at $18 (adults) and $15 (ages 13 and under).

No need to retire those "Eras Tour" outfits — or other fashion forward looks.

Along with Swift's birthday bash, ArtsQuest has been holding a host of skate nights. Still to come are a disco night with DJ Brad Scott on Thursday, Dec. 14; an 80s Night on Dec. 20 and a Y2K Pop Skate night on Dec. 21.

Additionally, there are kid-friendly day themed sessions, such as the Princess Skate on Saturday, Dec. 16, and Superhero Skate on Sunday, Dec. 17.

Get ready, Beyhive: next month, there will be a Beyoncé Skate on Jan. 3, a 90s Skate on Jan. 5 and a Jonas Brothers night on Jan. 12.

The rink, which opened last month, is bigger this year — about 1,500 square feet larger than in 2022.

It also will be open two weeks longer this year and instead melt away on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 15.

There also is a food and beverage tent adjacent to the rink that will include a full bar, hot chocolate, coffee, snacks and more sweet treats.
