EASTON, Pa. – A star of MTV’s stunt show “Jackass,” a memorable contestant from “America’s Got Talent,” a famed profound comedian, a legitimate singing icon and a favorite a cappella group with local ties will highlight the 2023-24 season at the State Theatre in Easton.

The shows are among 44 announced for the theater’s season. The lineup also includes a list of musical tribute acts and musical theater.
Tickets to most shows will go on sale to State Theatre members at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, and to the public at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the box office at 453 Northampton St. or statetheatre.org.
There will be a limit of 10 tickets per member per performance during the members-only sales; memberships to the nonprofit theater start at $75.
The lineup
Stuntman Steve-O, who was on “Jackass” with Johnny Knoxville for two years and in the show’s subsequent feature films, will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 to open the season. Tickets are $32-$122.
Comedian Andrew “Dice” Clay, whose early-career sexist and homophobic comedy generated protests against him, will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 14, with tickets costing $49-$79. And comedian Tape Face, who appeared on “America’s Got Talent” and “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 27. Tickets are $25-$35.
Season highlights also will include the return of singer Johnny Mathis, whose 65-year singing career has produced nearly 75 albums and put him in the Grammy Award Hall of Fame, at 7 p.m. Nov. 9. Tickets are $85-$105.
And a cappella sensations Straight No Chaser, who had a viral YouTube hit with a mash-up of “12 Days of Christmas” and Toto’s “Africa,” and whose members include Allentown native Jerome Collins and Forks Township native Walter Chase, will return for a Christmas show at 3 and 7 p.m. Dec. 9. Tickets, which go on sale July 28, are $25-$69.50.
