B.T.O. in March released a new single, "60 Years Ago," its first new music in more than 25 years, with co-founder Fred Turner, who only occasionally performs with the band, on lead vocals.

Bachman-Turner Overdrive, whose members were from Canada, won the Juno Awards Group of the Year in 1974, '75, '76 and '78.

The band started in 1973 with Randy Bachman, who had been successful with the band The Guess Who, which 1969-74 had 10 Top 30 hits, including the No. 1s "American Woman" and "No Sugar Tonight."

Bachman teamed with bassist Fred Turner, and B.T.O.'s first five albums all sold gold in the United States.

The group first had chart success with "Let It Ride," "Takin' Care of Business" and "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet," all in 1974.

Its last Top 30 hit was "Hey You" in 1975.

B.T.O revival, and Blue Oyster Cult

Bachman left the band in 1977, and it continued on, releasing three albums through 1984, but without commercial success.

It revived for two short stints in the 1980s and '90s-early 2000s, and Bachman and Turner toured as Bachman-Turner 2009-18, but Turner retired from touring.

Bachman, now 81, revived B.T.O. for the 50th anniversary as the only original member, with backup members from Bachman-Turner.

Original B.T.O. members Jim Clench, Robbie Bachman and Tim Bachman all have died.

The Wind Creek website says B.T.O. also will play hits from The Guess Who at the new show.

Blue Öyster Cult, in addition to “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” had the hits “Burnin’ For You” and “Godzilla.”

The band released its self-titled debut disc in 1972, but first found success with its 1974 third album, "Secret Treaties," which sold gold.

It had its biggest success with its 1976 fourth album, "Agents of Fortune," which included "(Don't Fear) The Reaper." That disc sold platinum and hit the Top 40 on the Albums chart.

It had two more gold albums with 1977's "Spectres" and its hit "Godzilla," and 1981's "Fire of an Unknown Origin" and its hit "Burnin' for You," which broke the Top 40.

Its most recent disc was "Ghost Stories," released in April.

Blue Öyster Cult opened for Cheap Trick at Allentown Fair last year.
