Seether broke onto the charts with its 2002 sophomore disc “Disclaimer,” but had its biggest success with 2004’s “Disclaimer II,” which produced the hit “Broken.” That song went to No. 4 on the alternative chart.
Seether’s fourth album, "Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray," was its highest-charting, peaking at No. 2 on the overall albums chart.
Overall, the group has had 31 songs that have hit the Top 25 on various charts, including the No.1 rock hits “Fake It,” “Country Song,” “Tonight,” “Words as Weapons” and "Dangerous," "Bruised and Bloodied" and "Wasteland," all from 2020.
It's latest album, "The Surface Seems So Far," was released in September.
Seether also headlined the event center in September 2024 with Skillet, and headlined Bethlehem’s Musikfest festival in 2005.
P.O.D. had the No. 1 Alternative hit "Youth of the Nation" and the No 2 hit "Alive" on the same chart in 2001. It has continued to have hits, including last year's Top 30 Mainstream Rock hit "I Won't Bow Down."
'Idol' winner to chart-topper
Daughtry, then known as Chris Daughtry, finished fourth on the fifth season of “American Idol” in 2006 and became one of the show’s most successful alumni.
The self-titled debut disc by Daughtry’s band spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard pop chart, and at the time was the fastest-selling debut rock album in SoundScan history. It eventually sold four times platinum.
It also yielded six singles, including three No. 1 songs — “Home” and “It’s Not Over,” both of which sold platinum, and “Feels Like Tonight” — as well as the Top 3 songs “Over You,” which went gold, and “What About Now.”
“It’s Not Over” was nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance, “Home” for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, and the album for Best Rock Album.
The disc also helped Daughtry win six American Music Awards, including Best New Artist, in 2007.
Daughtry’s second album, 2009’s “Leave This Town,” also went to No. 1, and produced the No. 1 single “No Surprise” as well as Top 5 hits “Life After You” and “September.”
His third disc, 2011’s “Break the Spell,” hit No. 1, producing the Top 10 single “Crawling Back to You” and the Top 25 song “Outta My Head.”
And 2013’s “Baptized” peaked at No. 6 on the overall albums chart and at No. 3 on the rock chart, with the platinum hit “Waiting For Superman.”
Daughtry also released a compilation album, 2016’s “It’s Not Over … The Hits So Far,” that peaked at No. 6 on the Rock chart and produced another Top 40 hit, “Torches.”
In all, he’s had nine songs that went to No. 1 on various charts.
Daughtry’s most recent release was the 2024 EP "Shock to the System (Part One)" last September, with its No. 1 Mainstream Rock singles "Artificial" and "Pieces."
A new EP, "Shock to the System (Part Two)," is due out soon. Its first single is "The Day I Die."
Daughtry in 2019 played a paid-ticket show at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks in Bethlehem in 2019, and headline shows at Bethlehem's Musikfest in 2018 and 2012.
He also drew more than 8,000 people to Allentown Fair in 2008, and about 3,000 people to Wind Creek, then called Sands Bethlehem Event Center, with 3 Doors Down in 2013.
