The concert will begin with Tchaikovsky’s "Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture,” and continue with pianist Alexandre Kantorow for Prokofiev’s "Piano Concerto No. 3," a piece known for its emotional range.
It will conclude with Bartók’s “Concerto for Orchestra,” a showcase of sound that highlights every section of the ensemble.
Leading the ensemble will be Aslop, the music director Laureate of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, chief conductor of the Ravinia Festival and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.
