BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Welcome to another year of LehighValleyNew.com's Fest in Show, a daily offering of some of the can't-miss acts on the 16 free stages of Bethlehem's Musikfest festival.

This year, more than 400 acts will play those stages during the festival's 11 days.

Read us daily during Musikfest for suggestions of the best music — and more.

Here are music acts you should see today, Sunday, Aug. 3, on the free stages at Musikfest 2025:

Fest in Show for Sunday, Aug. 3

Joe Lazorik “Good Times Piano Music,” 3 p.m. Lyricplatz. (Also 2 p.m. Aug. 9)
Lazorik is a jukebox known for getting crowds involved in the seemingly limitless list of hits he's able to recreate. But this year, he'll present what he calls "a fun and informative show" that "will provide memories for the older crowd plus a definite education for the younger ones."

Poets for Justice, 4 and 7 p.m., Charles A. Brown Ice House

A collection of local poets, giving their voice, ArtsQuest Chief Programming Officer Patrick Brogan said. "I think as we look all across Musikfest, an underrepresented community is spoken word," he said. "And so to be able to give them a platform, in kind of center stage on Sunday afternoon, Musikfest is thrilled to have them back."

Slingshot Dakota, 7:30 p.m. Stadtplatz

The husband-and-wife keyboard-and-drums duo of Carly Camando and Tom Patterson all their music "heavy pop that'll melt your face and make you smile." They caught a lot of industry attention at the massive South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, a few years back, and opened for Walk The Moon at Musikfest in 2023.

Mojo & the Mayhem, 7:30 p.m. Americaplatz
A seven-piece funk, rock and soul groove collection, with a horn section, from New York City. "I love a great, funky, soulful horn section," Brogan said. "And this was one of those bands that in the middle of winter, we're listening to music in the office, and the first notes that we hear out of this band just electrified us all."

Scythian, 9:30 p.m. Americaplatz
The Celtic and world music combo, which also incorporates Appalachian music, has frequently played Bethlehem's Celtic Classic as well as Musikfest. "A personal favorite of mine," Brogan said. "They've got a fun energy to them that, you can't sit still during a Scythian show." They also were the opening act for the main Steel Stage show by Avett Brothers on Saturday.

Zel, 11 p.m. Town Square
Rapper and R&B artist Zel, who hails from the Poconos, played a Musikfest show last year and days later "was in this tragic car accident, where there was concern whether he would pull through," Brogan said. "He had his mouth wired shut for a number of months, just really went through a lot of rehab to get back up and running. This is his kind of his first show back."
