Four Tops and The Temptations

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Sugar pie, honey bunch: it's time to move to the sounds of Motown.

R&B hitmakers The Temptations and Four Tops will perform at the Wind Creek Event Center on Saturday, May 13.

  • The Temptations and Four Tops are performing Saturday, May 13 at Wind Creek Event Center
  • The Motown hitmakers will sing some of their greatest hits including "My Girl" and "Baby I Need Your Lovin"
  • Tickets start at $39.50

While most of their original bandmates have passed on, sole members Otis Williams of the Temptations and Duke Fakir of the Four Tops continue to carry on the legacies of the groups.

Expect to hear songs such as “My Girl” and “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” from The Temptations and “Reach Out I’ll Be There” and “Ain’t No Woman” from the Four Tops.

American Royalty

The Temptations, known as "American Music Royalty," are celebrating their 63rd anniversary this year.

In 2020, the group was been named No. 1 R&B/Hip Hop Artists of All Time and one of 125 Greatest of All Time Artists by Billboard in 2019.

Of touring in his golden years, Williams, 81, told the Los Angeles Times he gets plenty of shuteye.

“When we finish performing, I go to my room,” he said. “You gotta get that rest, you cannot burn the wick at both ends.”

'Swoon-worthy' songs

The Four Tops were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

The group’s first hit, “Baby I Need Your Loving” in 1964, put them on the Motown map (Fakir told NPR in 2012, that when impressing a date it is the most "swoon-worthy" of their songs.)

Years following, the Tops released “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” and “It’s The Same Old Song,” “Ask The Lonely,” “Shake Me, Wake Me (When It’s Over)."

Tickets start at $39.50.
