"We have found so many pink feathers, because so many people came wearing feather boas, Lauren McChesney said. "There were even some who arrived in pink cars."

Celebrating strong women
To celebrate the movie's release, the theater will feature a double feature of "Barbie" and "Legally Blonde" through Thursday.
"In both movies, there are women who are embodying this traditional femininity, but are so smart, powerful and strong. I love that. I think that both movies match really well together," McChesney said.
Not unlike Legally Blonde's protagonist, Elle Woods, Barbie is not just another pretty face, McChesney said.
"It's is a lot deeper than I expected it to be. There is incredible representation in this movie. I think there is one Barbie or Ken that almost everyone can identity with in some regard. There is such a variety of people in the film."
The theater plans on screening "Barbie" until Aug. 3.
Just don't forget to wear something pink.
"We built a Barbie box where fans can take a photo," McChesney said. "And we have a little selfie station for people's Barbies, so it looks as if she came to the drive-in."
Look closely and you might spot Ken wandering around the snack bar.
"Most of the Barbie [dolls] here are from my collection when I was younger," McChesney said. "I loved Totally Hair Teresa, because she had long brown hair like me."
This weekend, County Seat Spirits will be a the venue selling pink and other movie-themed cocktails. The theater's concession stand also serves popcorn, burgers, ice cream and various treats.
