Chart success

“Candyass” was Orgy’s debut album in 1998 and hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and No. 32 on the overall chart, buoyed by “Blue Monday,” which peaked at No. 4 on the Alternative chart and No. 2 on the Dance chart.

“Candyass” also produced the hit “Stitches,” which peaked at No. 18 on the Alternative chart.

The album sold platinum.

Orgy’s sophomore album, “Vapor Transmission,” sold gold and peaked at No. 16 on Billboard’s overall Albums chart, with the hits "Fiction (Dreams in Digital)," which hit No. 6 on the Alternative chart, and “Opticon,” which peaked at No. 26 on that chart.

The group released a third album, 2004’s “Punk Statik Paranoia,” which rose to No. 11 on the Independent chart.

The only remaining original member in Orgy is singer Jay Gordon.

Cold first hit the charts with its sophomore album, 2000’s “13 Ways to Bleed on Stage,” which sold Gold and broke the Top 100 on the Albums chart and produced the Top 25 Mainstream Rock hits “No One,” “Just Got Wicked” and “End of the World.”

But it had its biggest success with its 2003 album “Year of the Spider,” which also sold gold and peaked at No. 3 on the Albums chart. Its top single was “Stupid Girl,” and it also had the Top 30 Mainstream Rock songs “Go Away” and “Suffocate.”

It produced three more albums, the latest being 2019’s “The Things We Can’t Stop,” which peaked at No. 11 on the Alternative chart, and continued to have charting hits through 2011’s “Wicked World.”
