ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A singer who rose from an acting background to have two gold singles and three Top 10 albums on Billboard's Folk chart will play Archer Music Hall, it was announced.
Tickets, at $46.05 for general admission standing and $96.75 for seated, are available at the Archer website and the box office at 939 Hamilton St., Allentown.
Graves as Alejandro Rose-Garcia had roles as a teen in 2000s TV show "Friday Night Lights" and appeared in the movie "Spy Kids 3: Game Over" and other films.
He continues to act; he had a role this year in the movie "Leads" and will be the star of the upcoming film "Waterloo Sunset."
He debuted in music as Shaky Graves, a one-man band, with the release of his 2011 debut album "Roll The Bones," which hit No. 5 on the Folk Albums chart.
But he had bigger success with 2014's "And the War Came," which peaked at No. 4 on the Folk chart and included the gold song "Dearly Departed," which hit No. 5 on the Adult Alternative chart.
His 2018 album "Can't Wake Up" peaked at No. 9 on the Folk chart, and his 2016 non-album single "Tomorrow" also achieved gold sales.
His most recent album was 2023's "Movie of the Week," which included the Top 15 Folk chart single "Ready or Not."
He has appeared as a musical guest appeared on the "Late Show with David Letterman," "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and "Austin City Limits."
