Dorney Park's Halloween Haunts will return, the park has announced. And its seeking workers.

SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. — Like that scary dream in a horror film, Dorney Park's spookiest attraction is coming back.

And to prepare, the theme park is looking for ghouls for hire.

Halloween Haunt, which features haunted mazes, elaborate scare zones and more, will return, the park announced Tuesday.

The attraction will be open 6-11 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays, from Sept. 13-Oct. 27. Tricks and treats will be Saturdays and Sundays.

"As night falls on the park, hundreds of creatures from the underworld emerge to make your worst nightmares come true."

Dorney said the "Halloween event is intense, parental discretion is advised."

In addition to the frights, the park said its most popular rides will be open at night "to deliver the amazing thrills and chills found only at Dorney Park," the park said in a release.

"As night falls on the park, hundreds of creatures from the underworld emerge to make your worst nightmares come true."

So Dorney is seeking job applicants for entertainment — that's everything from monsters to dancers to make-up artists — ride operations, food and beverage, safety, security and more.

More than 300 positions will be filled, it said,

Applications are now being accepted online. All available Haunt positions are posted on the Dorney Park jobs site.

They include monsters, security, entertainment tech — lighting or audio, ride attendants and food and beverage service associates.

No prior experience is needed for monster positions and rates start at $14 an hour. Rates for other positions vary.
