SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. — When Dorney Park opens for its 141st season at 10:30 a.m. today, May 9, the focus will be more on its array of shows rather than new rides.
Dorney last year's opened its season debuting its Iron Menace coaster, the Northeast's first-ever "dive" roller coaster, which features a 95-degree, 152-feet drop.
This year, visitors who stay on the ground will find Hot Rhythm Nights, Steelpan Jams and laid-back vibes of the Caribbean nights.
Dorney will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for the next three weekends.Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom website
