ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A country-rock music star whose first two albums sold platinum will perform at Allentown's PPL Center, it was announced Tuesday.
Hardy, whose 2023 album "The Mockingbird & The Crow" topped the Country Albums chart and produced the platinum hits "Wait in the Truck" (featuring Lainey Wilson), "Truck Bed" and "Sold Out," will perform at 7 p.m. March 26.
Tickets, the prices of which were not immediately released, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Oct. 10 at the PPL Center website or the box office at 701 Hamilton St., Allentown.PPL Center

Cameron Whitcomb and McCoy Moore will open the show.
The concert is part of a tour to promote Hardy's new album, "Country! Country!," which released Sept. 26 and debuted at No. 4 on the Country Albums chart and crossed over to No. 22 on the overall Albums chart.
It already has produced the Top 20 Country hit "Favorite Country Song" and a new single, "Bottomland."
Hardy broke into the Country music scene with the 2019 hit "Rednecker," which sold double-platinum.
He released his debut album, "A Rock," in 2020, with its chart-topping hit "One Beer" (featuring Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson), which topped the Country chart, and the triple-platinum "Give Heaven Some Hell."
That album sold platinum and hit No. 4 on the Country Albums chart and crossed over to No. 24 on the overall Albums chart.
Reaching superstardom
But it was Hardy's second album, "The Mockingbird and The Crow," the pushed him to superstar status. It had the triple-platinum hits "Wait in the Truck" and "Truck Bed," which both hit No. 1, and the platinum "Sold Out" and the gold hit "Jack."
His third album was 2024's "Quit."

Hardy also performed on Dierks Bentley's 2021 chart-topping platinum hit "Beers on Me," and has written hits for Florida Georgia Line, Chris Lane, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Morgan Wallen and others.
He was nominated for the Country Music Association Award for Song of the Year in 2019 for Blake Shelton's "God's Country," and was nominated in 2021 as New Artist of the Year.
He also was nominated for two awards at the 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards: Song of the Year for "Gods Country" and Songwriter of the Year.
In 2021, he received three nominations: New Male Artist, Songwriter of the Year and Music Event of the Year for "One Beer." In 2022 he was nominated for New Male Artist and won Songwriter of the Year.
He recently headlined at Madison Square Garden, and performed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
