Wilson Phillips, the best-selling female music group of all time, will play Wind Creek Event Center on July 25. Tickets go on sale Friday.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A female pop vocal group whose debut album produced three No. 1 hits — making it the best-selling female group of all time — will play Wind Creek Event Center.

Wilson Phillips, whose 1990 self-titled debut disc sold five times platinum with the hits "Hold On" and "Release Me" — both gold — and "You're in Love," will perform at 8 p.m. July 25.

Tickets, at $39.50-$99.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, at the Wind Creek website or the box office at 77 Wind Creek Blvd.

Wilson Phillps is made up of sisters Carnie and Wendy Wilson, daughter of The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson, and Chynna Phillips, the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of The Mamas & The Papas.

In addition to its chart-topping songs, it also had the Top 5 hits "Impulsive" and "The Dream Is Still Alive." That propelled the trio past The Supremes as the best-selling female singing group of all time.

The trio's 1990 self-titled disc peaked at No. 2, but sold 10 million copies worldwide. In addition to its chart-topping songs, it also had the Top 5 hits "Impulsive" and "The Dream Is Still Alive."

That propelled the trio past The Supremes as the best-selling female singing group of all time.

Wilson Phillips was nominated that year for four Grammy Awards: Best New Artist, Album of the Year and Song of the Year and Best Pop Performance for "Hold On."

"Hold On" won the Billboard Music Awards for Best single.

Wilson Phillips' second album, 1992's "Shadow and Light," sold platinum and peaked at No. 4, with the Top 5 Adult Contemporary hit "You Won't See Me Cry."

The group broke up in 1993, but the Wilson sisters that year had holiday hit with “Hey Santa!”

Phillips, who had begun her career as an actress, also released a successful solo album, "Naked & Sacred," in 1995.

The group reunited in 2004 to release a third album, "California," which peaked at No. 35 and had a minor hit with a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Go You Own Way."

They broke up again, but reunited for the final time in 2010.

Wilson Phillips played a sold-out show at Musikfest Café at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in 2011.
