BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Like a time-traveler from the past suddenly showing up in the present, ArtsQuest's sci-fi film festival is going to suddenly appear again, officials say.
Beep Boop Beep Boop: A Sci-Fi Film Festival will be back for its second year July 25-28 in Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.
Its 13 films over four days will offer "a carefully curated selection that spans the vast scope of the genre's wonders, from blockbuster classics to mind-bending animations to boundary-pushing art house films," according to an ArtsQuest release.
Regular tickets per film are $11, $8.50 for ages 25 and younger and $7.50 for seniors. Regular festival passes are $75 and $65 for ages 25 and younger and seniors. They're available at the venue at 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, and at SteelStacks.org.ArtsQuest release

The festival will kick off celebrating Art House Theater Day, when exhibitors and audiences embrace what art house theaters and independent films contribute to the cultural landscape: ambitious and innovative art that provokes, challenges, entertains and inspires.
Included with a 40th anniversary screening "The Terminator" will be a pre-recorded Art House Cinema-exclusive question-and-answer session between James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd on the film's indie roots and the critical importance of art house theaters.
Other highlights include anniversary showings of "Edge of Tomorrow" (10th anniversary); "Galaxy Quest" (25th anniversary); and "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension," "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" and "Repo Man," (all 40th anniversary); and "Space is the Place" (50th anniversary).
