EASTON, Pa. — A Broadway musical that won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, will return to Easton's State Theatre.
"Kinky Boots," whose Tony wins came from 13 nominations, and which also won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, and 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8, the theater announced.

"Kinky Boots" also was performed at State Theatre in 2018.
"Kinky Boots" also won the Tony for Best Score by singer Cyndi Lauper, a first-time Broadway songwriter, making her the first woman to win alone in that category.
The show's cast album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Cast Albums Chart and hit No. 53 on the overall Albums chart. It won the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album in 2014.
Based on true events, "Kinky Boots" follows the journey of a man who reluctantly inherits his father’s shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy.
He connects with Lola, an entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, and they work together to turn the factory around.
