BETHLEHEM, Pa. — One yacht rock vessel has barely left port at Wind Creek Event Center before another has set sail for the venue.
Yacht rock, the phenomenon that has musical acts once again sharing soft rock songs from decades past, again will take the event center stage when Yacht Rock Revue performs at 8 p.m. March 27, the venue announced.

Yacht Rock Revue said in a release that the music it plays, which spans "the sun-kissed melodies of Steely Dan and Michael McDonald to the velvety harmonies of Hall & Oates, evokes memories of palm trees, ocean breezes, and carefree summers."
Yacht rock has been ubiquitous at Lehigh Valley venues in recent years.
Yacht Rock Revue just played at the event center in March.
Yacht Lobsters, which plays retro-rock from 1970s and '80 acts such as Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates and Toto, played at Musikfest in Bethlehem in August, at Musikfest Cafe at SteelStacks in Bethlehem in January, and at ArtsQuest's ArtsQuest’s Concerts on the Grange series in 2024.
Boat House Row, which plays songs by the same acts as well as Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins and Christopher Cross, also played at Musikfest this year.
In July, Yächtley Crëw, a Los Angeles band that plays the 1970s and '80s soft rock sounds, performed at Quakertown's Univest Performance Center Sounds of Summer series.
And a cappella group Straight No Chaser performed a concert of its then-new "Yacht on the Rocks" album of yacht rock hits at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown in 2023.
