BETHLEHEM, Pa. — "American Idol" winner David Cook, who after the show had a platinum album and two platinum singles, will perform at Musikfest Cafe at ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem, it was announced.

Cook, 40, who beat David Archuletta to win the seventh season of "Idol" in 2008, will return to the cafe at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2. Tickets are $26-$32, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at www.steelstacks.org, 610-332-1300 or at ArtsQuest Center, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.
Cook's major-label debut single, the show's coronation song "The Time of My Life," went platinum and hit No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart.
After winning the show, Cook had a record-breaking 14 debuts on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart. His 2008 self-titled major-label debut album debuted at No. 3 and spawned two Top 20 singles, “Light On,” which also sold platinum, and “Come Back To Me.”
He released another major-label album, "This Loud Morning," in 2011 that peaked at No. 7 and had his last charting singles, "The Last Goodbye" and "Fade into Me," both of which hit the Top 40 on the adult chart.
He also released an independent album, "Digital Vein," in 2015 that peaked at No. 35 on the Albums chart.
Cook since has released three independent EPs, the latest of which was 2021's "The Looking Glass."
Cook also played Musikfest Cafe in 2015.
