BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Fourth of July is just around the corner.
No need to wait until the last minute to plan for summer's most patriotic celebration, which takes place on a Friday this year.

Allentown: 9:15 p.m. July 4
Fireworks this year will take place at Cedar Beach, not J. Birney Crum Stadium. Bring lawn chairs, blankets for favorite viewing spot in the Cedar Beach area. Fireworks to be set from the nearby ballfield.
Cedar Beach Park, 101 N. Ott St.
Noon-6 p.m. Games, interactive activities, food vendors and community programming.
Rain date: 12 p.m.-6 p.m. Saturday July 5
Bethlehem: Fireworks 9:15 p.m. July 4
Fired from Sand Island and visible at various areas of the city, particularly around the City Center Plaza on East Church Street.
The American Legion Band will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. at City Center Plaza.
To allow for safety during set-up of the display, all activity on Sand Island East will be closed to the public at 7:30 a.m. July 4th.
Rain date Saturday, July 5.

Coca Cola Park: IronPigs' "The Great American Blast”

Fireworks will be shot off from the field at 9:15 p.m. Guests may be on the field before the show begins and before taking their seats in the seating bowl by 8:45 p.m.
Parking $5 per car; tickets are $8 per person to enter the ballpark; Ages under 2 are free.
An additional $26 Picnic Patio ticket features hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta primavera, potato salad, corn on the cob, baked beans, popcorn, cookies and soda.
Dorney Park, July 4-6: Star Spangled Nights

Radiant bursts and brilliant shimmers will be complemented by a patriotic soundtrack. Active or retired military personnel can get up to six discounted admissions when purchased online.
Nazareth Kazoo Parade, 10 a.m. July 4
The Nazareth tradition will have participants march and show off their kazoo skills, or line the streets and cheer on the parade.
Gather at East Center and Liberty streets to pick up your kazoo and line up. The parade will head south on Liberty Street, turn right onto Belvidere Street and head to Main Street.
Sayre Mansion Celebrates America! 250 Wyandotte St.
Fireworks 9:15 p.m.
Bring a blanket or chair and view Bethlehem's fireworks display from the front lawn of the Sayre Mansion.
5-9 p.m.: Gourmet picnic, live entertainment, lawn games and more. $79 per person ($29 for ages and younger); cash bar available. Reservations are suggested.
Make a night of it — two tickets to the celebration and a best-available room based on double occupancy, and breakfast for two, for $379 (plus tax).

Easton Heritage Day, July 12, All day family festival with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at Hackett Park, Hackett Ave.
On July 8, 1776, Easton was one of three places where the Declaration of Independence had its first public reading. Easton Heritage Day is celebrated to mark Easton’s historic significance in the founding of the United States. Heritage Day is a free, full-day family festival around Centre Square, Riverside & Scott Parks in Downtown Easton, that showcases local history, offers activities for kids, and concludes with an amazing fireworks display about 9:30 p.m. on Hackett Park.
Dewey Fire Company Annual Carnival, Hellertown, July 8-12
570 Durham St.
Providing fire and rescue service for the borough, as well as basic and advanced life support services for Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township since 1897.
The Dewey Carnivalhas been held since 1915. The tradition continues as an annual fundraiser for the local fire and EMS departments at Dimmick Park. Fireworks are Friday night, July 11.
