City officials on Dec. 15 announced extensive damage to the holiday lights display and park facilities.

Vandals pushed portable toilets into the Little Lehigh Creek, bent light poles and posts, and broke light bulbs throughout the display area.

Restroom facilities in the park also were damaged, according to officials.

Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk said an initial estimate showed vandals caused at least $100,000 in damages, though most of the display remained in good shape.

Total damages announced Friday were valued at $46,000, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

Weaver and the three juveniles were seen on surveillance footage vandalizing the display, according to authorities.

Weaver is due back in court next month for a preliminary hearing.
