Jason Moorehead is a social studies teacher at Raub Middle School in Allentown. In a widely circulated screenshot, he allegedly posted a picture on social media of himself at the D.C. rally on Wednesday with a quote saying, “Doing my civic duty.”

Moorehead was linked to another post that said “don’t worry, the Capitol is insured,”  and his response: “This!”.

The King-Spry Law Firm is representing the Allentown School District in the matter. A solicitor with the firm says they are currently looking into all the facts of the teacher’s involvement. He says they are still in the interview process, but moving quickly.

A statement from the district says Moorehead has been relieved of his teaching duties while an investigation is being conducted.
