Top 10 most expensive homes sold in Carbon County the week of Oct. 16

A house in Albrightsville that sold for $670,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Carbon County in the past week.

In total, 21 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $228,501. The average price per square foot ended up at $167.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Oct. 16 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $240K, single-family house at 28 Huron Road

The sale of the single-family house at 28 Huron Road, Jim Thorpe, has been finalized. The price was $240,000, and the house changed hands in October. The house was built in 1974 and has a living area of 1,324 square feet. The price per square foot was $181.

9. $244K, single-family residence at 2 West Oak Street

The property at 2 West Oak Street in Tresckow has new owners. The price was $243,800. The house was built in 1937 and has a living area of 1,764 square feet. The price per square foot is $138.
