BETHLEHEM, Pa. - With virus cases and demand for testing on the rise, Northampton County and its partners are expanding the hours of a free, drive-through COVID-19 testing site in Bethlehem Township.
The site will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 31, and on Saturday (New Year’s Day).
Then, next week, testing will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Monday (Jan. 3), Wednesday (Jan. 5) and Friday, (Jan. 7) and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 4) and Thursday (Jan. 6).
Neither appointments nor a physician’s order are required for tests, which are open to everyone.
Only county residents will have the cost of testing covered by the county if they do not have health insurance coverage. Participants should bring a photo ID and health insurance card if they have one.
Tests are administered outside the Coordinated Health building at 3100 Emrick Blvd. The site is a partnership between the county and Lehigh Valley Health Network.
