Singer for multi-platinum rock band to play solo show at Wind Creek for at least sixth time

Aaron Lewis, lead singer for the band Staind, will perform with his solo band the Stateliners at Wind Creek Event Center on Oct. 15.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The front man for the multi-platinum-selling rock band Staind will return to Wind Creek Event Center for at least the sixth time in a decade, it was announced.

Aaron Lewis, who with Staind sold 10 million copies of the group's first five albums, three of which hit No. 1, will perform at 8 p.m. April 10.

He will play with his solo band The Stateliners.

Lewis’ latest solo disc, “The Hill,” released in March, Peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard’s Country chart and crossed over into the Top 200 on its overall albums chart.

His previous album, 2022's "Frayed at Both Ends," peaked at No. 5 on the Country chart and in the Top 40 on the overall Albums chart and had the gold, No. 1 Country hit "Am I the Only One."

Staind on extended hiatus

With Lewis, Staind had such hits as the gold No. 1s “It’s Been Awhile” and “Right Here.”

Since 2014, the 30-year-old band has played few sporadic shows and released only one disc in a dozen years, 2023's "Confessions of the Fallen."

Lewis released his first solo EP, “Town Line,” in 2011, and it went to No. 1 on the country chart and No. 7 on Billboard’s overall albums chart and produced the gold, Top 40 rock hit “Country Boy (featuring George Jones and Charlie Daniels).”

In 2012, his debut full-length album, “The Road,” went to No.7 on the country chart and No. 30 on Billboard’s albums chart, with the Top 40 Country hit “Endless Summer” and charting country hits “Forever” and “Granddaddy’s Gun.”

Lewis also performed at the event center, then called Sands Bethlehem Event Center, in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019, and with Staind in 2014.
