Onstage advice
Touring bands and singers will share what life it like on the road.
Among the panelists are Carly Comando from Slingshot Dakota, VoirVoir bandmate Matt Molchany and singer Seth Witcher.
Ryan Susko, a financial planner and manager of indie band, We're From Antarctica, came up with the idea to host the event after he attended a similar conference in Philadelphia.
Susko co-heads IceHouse Tonight: Punk & DIY, an organization that showcases regional bands from various genres to perform onstage at the Ice House, 56 River St.
"The event will give attendees free access to industry insider information that will help aspiring musicians take the next steps in their music career," Susko said.
"It will also give attendees an inside look into how the local music scene operates and allow them to connect with industry experts to find out how they can get more involved in their local music community."
