Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today

Yay! It's Friday! It's National Carrot Cake Day, for anyone who's a fan. It's also National Doggy Date Day.

Whether you're a fan of eating cake or hanging out with your pets, there are plenty of reasons to start the weekend off on a great note. Life is short, so make sure you find a reason to smile this weekend.

1. If you're looking for things to do this weekend, Emmaus' SnowBlast winter arts festival will be Saturday and feature more than 50 artists and vendors.

2. The National Museum of Industrial History in Bethlehem got some exciting news, in the form of a $500,000 grant. What are they going to do with the money? Click here to find out.
